Mayweather Knocks Out Hatton

Not surprisingly "Pretty Boy" Floyd beats Hatton to remain undefeated and unquestionably the best in the business. This was a very entertaining fight, but for me there was never a doubt as to who would come out on top. Mayweather overcame the crowd and his opponent with sheer talent and determination.

He had proven numerous times that he is the best pound for pound fighter in the business and is the best natural fighter since Roy Jones Jr. He connected at a much higher percentage rate than Hatton. Mayweather's defense was superb and kept Hatton guessing all night long.

The main problem I had with watching this fight was the announcing. What the heck was wrong with those guys? The fight was not as close as Howard Leatherman had it. He had Hatton ahead of Mayweather after the 6th round! I didn't understand it; I know they have to keep the audience but after paying $50 for the fight, I am not going to turn it off until it is over. They should call what they see and since Mayweather was clearly winning the fight that is what they should have reported.

However, Mayweather is still the best, and it may be the last time we get to see him in quite some time. He has continuously hinted at retirement. But we all know when a fighter talks about retirement never to listen. All it takes is the right dollar signs and Mayweather will be back in the ring.
